This is my take on the Derrick Rose should he or shouldn’t he play controversy.
My issue is with those drivers who think it’s a good idea to drive close up on my rear bumper. Really what is on your mind? How can you possibly think that is safe? Consider this all of a sudden traffic comes to a halt and the car in front of you has to make a sudden stop. How are you going to stop without hitting the car in front of you, if you are riding on their bumper? Now you’ve possibly damaged someone’s car and/or caused bodily injury. Was it worth it? So use caution and keep a safe stopping distance. I hope these tips have been a help to you and that you implement them into your driving skill set memory. I’m wishing you Safe and Stress Free Driving

Today I want to talk about highway driving and proper lane usage. I love highway driving and I travel the roads quite a bit. There is nothing like being on the open highway kicked back relaxing and enjoying the ride. It’s time to pass and there is a car in the passing lane driving like it’s the only car on the road. There are numerous signs along the way that say Keep Right Except To Pass. The worst part about it is they make no attempt to get out of the passing lane. So here are my tips. First obey the sign if you’re not passing stay in the right lane. Second if you are passing then pass and get out of the way remember there are other cars behind you. Just following these simple rules will help make the highways safer and road rage free.

Hello and Welcome to Good Driving Tips.
On last weeks blog I talked about the proper usage of the highway passing lane and I hope everyone is observing the passing rule. Stay right except to pass. Today I’m going to discuss proper driving etiquette on the streets of your city. The thing that really bothers me the most is when someone blocks an intersection at a traffic light. Please I beg you use some wisdom. If you are at an intersection and have a green light but the cars across the intersection in front of you are stopped or backed up, assess the situation and if it appears the traffic won’t be moving before your light turns red stay put. If you try to make the light and the traffic ahead is backed up all you’re going to do is create a traffic jam for the cross traffic because you are stopped in the middle of the intersection. What is the logic in that and what are you accomplishing? You are not saving any time because you are sitting still, really the only thing you’re doing is aggravating the drivers who can’t go because you are in the way. So next time you find yourself in that situation think about the other drivers and stay put at the light.
